The Iisalmi Culture Center has been built as a living room for the city's residents in 1989. At the moment there is a city library, a civic institute, a music school, a summer university, a nature museum, venue for changing exhibitions Venny, a café, a cultural palace and a nail and makeup artist Teija Niskanen.
